ATL cheerleaders are the spirit of our league bringing energy and enthusiasm to 8 seasonal basketball games, cheering their team to do their best and entertaining the fans during time outs and half time. Participants are taught the fundamentals of floor cheering and pom use while learning a variety of floor cheers, chants and a half time cheer & dance routine. Team assignments are based on age and squads are keep at a reasonable coach to participate ratio, we are dedicated to every child's growth and learning. ATL Youth Cheerleaders also participant in local events when scheduled, i.e parade & local festivals.

* Special request can be made to the Coaching Director and will be evaluated on a per case basis. Teams are distributed to ensure even numbers on each team.

Youth Level I
Ages 9-11
* Tumbling Requirements:
Cartwheel, Roundoff. Front or back walker over

Junior Level 2
Ages 14 & under
* Tumbling requirements:
Above level one skills in addition to front or back handspring.

Senior Level 2
17 years & younger

* Tumbling requirements:
Above level one skills in addition to front or back handspring.

***During tryouts tumbling skills will not be the only determining factor in team placement. Cheerleaders who showcase all other qualities needed to be on an Allstar team and display an ability to acquire tumbling skills during pre-season are placed on teams.

ALL Star Overview:
This is competition cheerleadering at its best with all the quality and excitement without the exorbitant expense.
Our Travel Teams begin practice in the summer and compete in 6-8 local All Star Cheer Competitions. The competition season runs from Sept - Dec. The season will extend upon teams qualifying for nationals. During the off season the team takes tumbling classes.
